Community events and support

Every other Sunday our trans peer group meets to laugh, chat, and address the questions and issues our members are facing. Often followed by a fun dinner out.

A weeklong celebration in March featuring fun events for all ages including game night, a party, concert, art show, and more, in honor of Transgender Day of Visibility.

The solemn and powerful event, held yearly on (or near) November 20th, honoring the members of our community in the US that we've lost to violence and self-harm.

Trans Pride Week & Trans Day of Visibility

March 22-31, 2026

This is the third year of Trans Pride Week in Ventura County. The biggest celebration of the trans and gender diverse community in the county, Trans Pride Week is a set of great events leading up to Transgender Day of Visibility (3/31).

In the past, Trans Pride Week has featured youth and all ages events, karaoke and game nights, parties, faith and spirituality resources, and most importantly connection!

Meeting, Kickoff Party, & Fundraiser

Midici is donating 10% to TPVC!

We start Trans Pride Week with our Transcend Peer Group meeting this Sunday, 3/22 at 4pm at Diversity Collective. Then we move downtown for a fun party. Midici has been a friend of Trans Pride Ventura County almost from the very beginning over 3 years ago! To kick off Trans Pride Week, they are hosting a fundraiser for us and donating 10% of the checks from our group.

So, come hungry and ready to have fun. We love the food here, the people, and the atmosphere.

Game Night

We're back at The Tipsy Goat in Thousand Oaks, this time for an all-ages game night. We'll have table top games available and some great card and group games.

Art Show

Can You See Me?

Come marvel at the creativity and expression of some of the greatest trans and nonbinary artists in the county. This is the 6th year of Qori's art show "Can You See Me?" and the 3rd year it's been part of Trans Pride Week. There will be live performances from gender diverse artists. Come support, enjoy, mingle, and party with a cool bunch of folx!

Trans Day of Visibility Party

Celebrate Transgender Day of Visibility and close out Trans Pride Week with the trans community. Let's dance, hang out, and celebrate our community.

Transgender Day of Remembrance​

November 20

Trans Day of Remembrance is our chance to remember and honor the folks we’ve lost throughout the year to anti-trans violence.

 

The event features powerful speakers, local community resources, a ceremony and ofrenda honoring those we’ve lost this year. This event is offered for FREE thanks to community donors and sponsors.
