Trans Pride Ventura County is an effort by The Transverse, a global transgender community and support organization, to provide support and connection for the transgender community of Ventura County, our home base. Since 2022 The Transverse team has been working hard to build up the trans community here in our county hosting our Transgender Day of Remembrance events, as well as the Trans Peer Group bringing trans folks together to find friends and support bi-weekly at Diversity Collective. In 2024 we hosted the first Transgender Pride event in Ventura County, encompassing Transgender Day of Visibility. The vision for Trans Pride Ventura County is to create a closely knit community and connection for all of the various trans groups, individuals, and resources available locally. The Transverse is led by President and founder Emily Kailyn.
